Hello! I’m Nicolette, owner of Nicolette’s Nails & Education and a proud member of the Magpie Beauty Education team.
My passion for nails began long before my professional journey. As a teenager, I loved experimenting with home kits and press-on nails—often leaving a trail of polish and glitter on the carpet! At just 15, while still in school, I landed a Saturday job at a busy salon and quickly fell in love with the craft. After qualifying, I built my own mobile nail business, but offering detailed nail art and a wide range of services soon made it clear that working on the move wasn’t sustainable.
Today, I run my business from a welcoming home salon and deliver nail training courses from beautiful venues across Hampshire. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of training hundreds of students across the country—some just beginning their nail journey and others looking to refine and expand their skills. Alongside teaching, I’ve also enjoyed creating nails for regular clients, brides, and models, and even had the opportunity to assist backstage at London Fashion Week.
Now, as a proud Magpie Beauty Educator, I’m passionate about inspiring the next generation of nail technicians and helping others build successful careers in the nail industry.
As a Nail Educator, I specialise in working with aspiring and established nail technicians, helping them build strong foundations in both nail techniques and business skills.
Through professional training and mentorship, I support my students in developing confidence, mastering their craft, and learning how to communicate effectively with clients while growing a successful nail business.
